The Children’s Home serves nearly 12,000 children and adults in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties every year. We do this through our top rated residential healing campus that cares for about 100 children each year, ages 6 to 17 suffering from severe abuse and neglect, support programs for kinship, foster and adoptive families, as well as outreach and prevention programs through our Family Support and Resource Center. Raising Hope, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization based in Pinellas County, Florida. Raising Hope was established in 2004 to meet the emergency clothing and toiletry needs for children coming into Pinellas County’s foster care system. To accomplish this, Raising Hope maintains a Resource Room at the Pinellas County privatized
foster care agency. In this Resource Room, we keep an inventory of new and gently-used clothing, new shoes, new underwear, new socks, and age-appropriate toiletry items. For more information, go to www.raisinghopefl.org.
